How to tell your family you're eloping (without the drama)

You’ve decided to elope. First off: hell yeah! I’m doing a little happy dance over here just thinking about you two ditching the expectations, skipping the seating charts and saying your vows somewhere breathtakingly beautiful. Whether it’s a misty cliffside in Norway, a sun-kissed Tucan hill, or a secret Alpine meadow… I’m 100% here for it. 

Now comes the scary part: telling your family. Look, I get it. Eloping can feel like a “big statement”, especially if your family has dreamed of a traditional wedding for you since forever. But the thing is: this is YOUR day, not theirs.
