Community over competition
During my first years as a photographer, I spent way too much time trying to figure out everything myself. My workflow was inefficient, my website was crap, my editing was inconsistent and looking back on my pricing makes me want to slap myself in the face. With a chair.
I’ve learned many lessons since I started working as a full-time photographer 10 years ago. And I'd love to share these with you, so you don't have to cringe as hard as I do when I think about all the time and money I've wasted.

Firgen is a community for photographers based on the idea of genuine, unselfish delight or pride in the accomplishments of another person. Elke Van den Ende and I have been organizing online courses, live workshops, co-workings and retreats for our local community since 2019.

Follow a First Light workshop
