Apart from the fact this setup looked absolutely epic (big shoutout to the masterminds behind this), I truly loved capturing this event because the other people involved in the organization of this project deeply care about planet & people. Combining beauty with sustainability made this an absolute dream to photograph.

I didn’t think it was humanly possible to love t

I didn’t think it was humanly possible to love the mountains even more than I do, until I met Michèle @moveanymountain.be.

Almost two years ago, she asked me to join her on her very first mountain retreat as a photographer. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was getting myself into, but if the job requires you to go to the mountains, you say yes.

It wasn’t your average yoga retreat, but it wasn’t your average adventure bootcamp either. It was focused on spending time in the mountains with good people, eating finger-licking good food and having the best conversations. It was relaxing, disconnecting from anything that involves looking at your mailbox, while also looking for a healthy dose of adrenaline and pushing your own boundaries.

I just signed up for the winter edition in February (as a guest, not a photographer this time!) and I can’t wait to spend all week snowboarding, hiking, eating, doing yoga and even have my very first parapente flight.

My New Year’s resolutions made me do it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of my limited edition prints is currently up for auction through the @1percentftp 2024 Virtual Auction!

1% For The Planet is a global network founded on the idea that a company has a responsibility to give back for use of our planet’s recourses. All of its members (including me!) donate at least 1% of their annual revenue to environmental causes that support people and our planet.

As a photographer who spends a lot of time outdoors, I strongly believe in the importance of taking my responsibility for the environment. The Outdoors are more than just an epic backdrop for photos, so supporting environmental work and humanitarian efforts have been a part of my business since day 1.

100% of the proceeds from this auction support @1percentftp ‘s mission.

Christmas is just around the corner, so don’t hesitate to take another look at the other auction items too! There’s sustainable blankets to keep you warm and cosy (@ono__mao), some amazing books (Let My People Go Surfing, signed by Yvon Chouinard, founder of @patagonia himself), and even a ukulele autographed by @jackjohnson!
